Bad Pyrmont is located between the Weserbergland and the Teutoburg Forest on the border with North Rhine-Westphalia. The state spa of Lower Saxony is a traditional spa with many corresponding spa facilities of high national and international rank. The town is home to one of the most beautiful spa parks in Germany with a famous palm garden, the largest outdoor palm plantation north of the Alps. 

You will find our Hotel-Kurpension Haus Ritter only a few steps away from the spa park in the heart of the spa district. From here you can reach the main avenue with theater, casino and Wandelhalle as well as the spa facilities just as easily as the pedestrian zone with its stores and boutiques.  

Pyrmont became famous in 1556/57, when tens thousands of people from all over Europe came here ("great miracle run") to find healing and experience the miraculous spring  (from Wikipedia).

The Deutsche Bahn travel information will show you all possible connections. At the train station Bad Pyrmont cabs are waiting for you (Tel. 05281/2424 or 3333). However, you can also use the buses of the Bad Pyrmont public transportation to travel to the spa district, stop "Kaiserplatz" form where ti is only 50 m to our house. The buses depart from Bad Pyrmont train station every half hour on the hour +5 / + 35 minutes during core hours, e.g. at 15:05,15:35, 16:05, 16:35, etc. For more detailed information about the bus routes, travel times and prices, please visit the website of Stadtwerke Bad Pyrmont.
